This image was taken a couple of weeks ago at Green Cay. The osprey has been quite active and has given us many photo opportunities. They are so majestic to watch and especially when landing and taking off.

This image is a wonderful capture of this stunning species. Wing position, head posture and expression are stunning, I feel honored to have been there with you, I think, love it Judy and a great big congrats.

Very nice landing pose. I love the outstreched wings, open talons, and well lit perch. The cloud in the background makes a more interesting BG. The blacks need to be reduced on the bird and I would have liked the bird to turn its head slightly towards the camera.

Nice image. Good pose sharpness and BG. I wish the head turn was a bit better.

There's a beautiful quality to the way the plumage is rendered here Judy. Super! Love the simplicity of the image. Although a head turn would have been nice, the bird is concentrating on doing what it does best and the combination of landing and looking at you just isn't going to happen!

I'm with Joel on this one...although not possible after the fact, a better head angle would have lit up the eye nicely here. Love the details you got on the underwings, and the one open talon is a nice touch!

Stunning bit of action Judylynn I love the clouds in the bg and super details. Alittle eye contact would of been nice but still very sweet....

Great shot Judy, everything is perfectly sharp and details are well retained.
I too feel that a slight head angle towards right would have made this an Amazing capture.

A better head turn would've come "like a glove" but the pose, light and compo as the perch are great great great! Congratulaitons!
