    This was at the Wakohadchee Wetlands and taken with a Canon MK-2 ISO=200 at-f/4
    1/1600th of a sec. and a 500-MM )-exp. comp.

    Thought this pose was a little unusual and he hung around for quite some time. Thank you all in advance who came to visit and comment.

    Lovely composition Bill with good exposure and detail as well as excellent eye contact. The pose really makes this for me. Congratulations on a unique capture.

    Cool pose, very nice soft light and good details. I might be tempted to clone out the blade of grass that is partially covering the back.

    I thought about it Axel but thought it added to the way the bird was perched in the frame, thank you for your comment and Judy thank you also it is all greatly appreciated. Haven't seen you Judy because I'm without a camera and have not beenout, but that will all chnge tomorrow with my new arrival, see you all soon, and thanks again to all.

    Too much saturation for my taste but the pose is fantastic. Neat eye contact and very sharp. Bill I like the vertical format of this image but I think that also would work fine in landscape format with more room at the right. I almost forget to say that the green stuff is great!
