    Default Fire

Found this interesting leaf which reminded me of fire. Placed the leaf against another maroon leaf for a contrasting BG.
Placing again was tricky. After several thoughts, I finally decided to place it in such a way that the veins in the BG leaf diverge/spread outwards from behind the main yellow leaf.

Would like to know your thoughts, critiques.

Very cool Kaushik. I like it a lot. The colors complement each other very well. The image is very sharp and the detail excellent. And I think you hit it spot on with the direction of the veins. And the shape of the leaf fits the title perfectly. Excellent job!

Kaushik, this is a lovely image. Good job working the comp until you were happy -- this one works very well! Great colors & framing. A winner in my book.

I think you nailed it, too. Everything looks good and the overall image is really cool to sit and stare at. Nicely done!

The veins certainly look like fire spreading outward and the leaf is a real winner of choice. Now this is outward thinking. Well done.

Hey Kaushik, very cool and interesting shape in the leaf. I like the postion and the BG leaf with the diagonal veins working at the top. Great color and contrast.

Kaushik- Your composition is perfect. I like the way the tip of the yellow leaf blends into the vein of the darker. The colors are complimentary and you did a great job on exposure and sharpness.
