    I attended Artie's seminar last weekend in Portland. This image was made during a lunch break and I was able to put into practice many of the techniques I learned. The background is an OOF brick wall. A large black splotch was removed from the left side of the image.

    Looks good to me Joel! I might have increased the ISO a stop and gone for a little more DOF, but I like this one as presented!

    Excellent plumage detail and nice BG. Perfect portrait IMO. :)
