    This little gal is an inspiration. I had no clue she was missing a leg until I started reviewing the photos on the LCD to show the owner.

    I got some other frames of her where the focus isn't so far behind her, but I really like the mood & message of this one.

    Thanks Julie & Judy.

    I just talked to the owner and learned that when this dog was found, she had a really badly mangled leg and a new litter of puppies. Apparently, she was a good mom and cared for the pups without concern for her own leg.

    The blurry one in the lrc is one of the pups that eventually ended up adopted by the same folks as the mom.

    I can just see the look of pride on mom's face as she's watching her little one "win the race."

    I love stories like this, and the good news for me is that the owner is purchasing the whole series I linked to in prints.
