    Default Juvenile Herring Gull

A couple of days ago I spend a wonderful day with Krijn at a local beach. The light was pretty good all day with some awesome warm light in the evening. And as the wind was coming from the right direction we spend a couple of hours photographing gulls in flight. I guess we both got away with quite some keepers, but one of my favorites of that days is this photograph of this juvenile herring gull. Simple...but that piercing gives it something special.
