    From out a dark position this motherbird came out with some youngsters on her bag. I choose to keep de dark parts as they are because it gives the photo somthing extra to my opinion.

    Olympus E3, Zuiko ED 300 F2.8, Zuiko 2.0 converter, 600mm focuslength, 1/320 sec, F8, ISO320, -0.3 stop

    Cute moment Alexander....although the photograph does look too dark IMO. The light situation was very difficult here and you had to make a choice regarding the contrast.....I'd try to brighten things up a bit...as you've already lost detail in the whites. Fill-flash would have helped a lot here. Also, you might want to choose a lower angle next time (which could mean you'd have to shoot from inside the water). This will bring more intimacy to your photograph.

    Great capture, angle and details. The chicks add to it. Overall, the image looks quite dark and I would try to get more details in the shadows.
