Hi Everyone,
I'm heading off to surgery in a couple of days and I wanted to post just one more shot before I went.
I went to the park today and after reading part of Arties first BAA book I think I have a better handle on lighting.
This one is my favorite mallard picture that I've taken.
Canon 40D, 100-400L IS, Aperture Priority, Handheld.
F/5.6, 1/800ss, ISO 200 @ 400mm.
Excellent composition Sharna,
I like the fine details and the vibrant colors. Your duck is placed just right in frame...congrats...
Wishing you the very best, and all will go well with your surgery...see you back soon...:)
Thanks everyone for your well wishes. I've been waiting 4 years to have this procedure.
And thanks for the comments on the picture. I've been working on improving my lighting and thanks to Artie I think I have a better understanding of it.
