    Hey Grady,
Not sure about clipping the ears. Everything else is nice and sharp. I figure the BG is a bit distacting..........so that's why the ears are clipped. If that is the case.......going a bit tighter may help.

Beautiful animal, I'm having a tough time with the comp. I also struggle with portraits, as in how tight to get. I don't like any tighter crops I tried so I would stay with this myself. I like the expression too. Very nice.

The clipped ears are bothersome to me too. THis type of image and the tight crop can be very hard to figure out. I suggest frame loose when you make it and sort it out later.

Robert, Roman and Paul, how about this one? I actually did crop the last posted image trying to put her more off centered. Here is a much fuller version.

    Hey Grady,
I did a clean up of the needles on the right using the patch tool. I did a crop............that put it dead center.......just to show the comp. I could go without the crop.....but the clean up is worth the effort. I also lightened the eyes a bit through levels and contrast. Let me know your thoughts on it.

    Grady,

I like the composition in the repost and Roman's eye work is perfect.

I really like the repost. Don't mind about the centered animal, because it looks so straight at me. That works really well!
    Congrats!

I think it works best as Roman posted. My friend in TN had a 98% wolf. What a beautiful animal, seemed too smart also. Always seemed to be thinking.
