    Default Dipper in the rain

After the leucistic Coot i posted earlier this is my second rare find (for our regions that is..) this week. This guy had been hanging out near a castle in the eastern part of Holland and as i had a business meeting nearby today i decided to pay him a visit as these are perhaps only seen once a year in Holland.
It was not easy though to get some clean shots of this Dipper as it was raining al day long and i had to shoot 1600 ISO just to get some speed...

    Greetings,

    Jeroen Stel

Very well composed, Jeroen, and the raindrops make it special.

liked everything about this image - the composition, the rain drops, the details, the twig & the tiny water droplets on the bird's feathers...
    And @ ISO1600, its a magic.

    Hi Jeroen,
Could be a little lighter around the eye area, the rest looks awesome!

Very original composition. I'm wondering what it would look like as pano crop but like it as is. It could go a little bit brighter for my taste.

I love it as presented for all of the reasons mentioned above. The various earth tones are lovely too. Later and love, artie

Must add my congrats, really really nice colors & mood!

I'm not so sure about the branch leaving the frame on the left but not on the right, if talking about the composition.

    Anyway, outstanding!

I like the feeling on this one. I only wish the the tree not to touch the frame. I really like the rain because it helps the flow of the image.
