OK........I admit I wasn't going out specifically to try these........but Fabs, Julie, Joanna and all............must have een transmitting some sort of telepathy to me. I was photographing a beaver on his lodge near Oxbow bend..........when I noticed the reflections in the water. You asked for the upside down version...........here it is.......as photographed. Obviously I have never even thought about something like this with the 300-800...............so. ....specs; Canon 1D Mark 3 with the Sigma 300-800mm lens at 466 mm at ISO 800 and f9 for 1/1000th of a sec..........tripod/wimbely mounted............intentionally slightly turned OOF. PP included levels.......dust bunny removal..........a ahir of sat...........and contrast boost.
As always comments welcomed and appreciated.
I really like the beautiful fall colors I find myself standing on my head to see what it would be like right side up? It seems a little heavily balanced to the right, but I still do like it. I think your faster speed brought out the trees nicely.
I'm wanting to run it through liquify! Maybe swirl those tree trunks a bit to soften the image. It's lovely as presented and I congratulate you for stepping outside your box, Roman!!!
