Coming to the end of the zoo pictures from a couple of trips over the past two weeks. Looks like this guy has an injured wing?

    Nikon D300; 300mm 2.8 w/2x tc; 600mm; F8; 1/320; ISO 800; Aperture Priority; Exposure Comp -0.67; Tripod used.

    Nicely done Oscar,
I like the pensive look on this fellow. The head angle is ok because the bird is looking at something; your stay out of jail card worked...:D nice perch, and I like the painted diffused background. What was wrong with his wing? Was it broken? It looks like he is in pain. I guess we are going to call Doctor Davis aka...Daktari to the rescue...:p;):):D well done...

Oscar this shot is very well composed. Maybe just a hair too close on left but no big deal. I love the colors you were able to capture in his wings - that color sets this shot apart from the many others I have seen, Great job!

Nice job Oscar.... The colors are fabulous. Did you put in the background green? His eye is looking up as to say, not this guy again, lol.

Like the pose and how he is looking up. Nicely placed in the frame. What will you photograph next?
