:D:D It's soaking wet!!! The Eye was sharpened once, and I ran Noise ninja on the bg after following Oom Gus's instructions!:p

    Hi Jeni,
Lovely BG maybe a bit heavy-handed with the sharpening. Like the placement in the frame.

Have fun with QM it is such a flexible tool for everything!

Guys, I only sharpened the eye once after doing 25 radius .8 detail 20 and masking 40
( less than John Shaw recommends) in ACR - nothing was done on the bird itself after that.:(

Jeni, I'm not sure what you used for noise reduction but some of the plugins will do some sharpening as a default...you might check and see if that's what happened.

    Hi Jeni:

Lovely photograph, I think you created a masterpiece. If it is slightly too sharp, matter of opinion, it will print out real nice.

Looking forward to more to come.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Hi Jeni,

I like the image. The bird almost looks shocked. It must not like being that wet. I think the background is great. Good composition. I am impressed how sharp the feathers since you did not apply any sharpening. Well DOne.

    Regards,

    Phil
