Hi Bill - looks a little dark on my screen - unless it is just my screen, I think you are a little under exposed here.

Do you use your histogram on the back of the camera - you want to try and get he whites as fa to the right as you can without blwoing them out (stacking them up the side of the histogram) also worth turning on your overexposure blinkies so that you can get a visual indication of if you are overexposing.

I like the BG and also the HA - would selectively sharpen the eye - just a tad.

    keep em coming.

    :)

    Hi Bill,
It looks a little dark to me too - having said that I do love the mood of this and the feather detail is to die for - so soft and fluffy! I might be tempted to just tweak the whites up slightly in levels and leave the BG as it is.
    Regards,
    Nicki

Fully agree with comments, just a slight curves adjustment will make it shine. Do wonder about the base exp, check out the histogram I like the crop and presentation !!! Excellent !!!

    Hi Bill,
I think that something between the two would work best!

I agree...it's nice but very "white". I'd just knock it back a tiny bit on the whites. The eye & beak look great!

Agree with the other comments. The blurring on the front edge of the neck is a bit distracting for me.
