    Default Flamingos on my mind

As most of you know it rained a lot of the day on last Saturdays Zoo trip. I had several nice images of the flamingos and couldn't make up my mind of what to do with them. I decided to merge 2 of them with a clipping mask and used a luminosity blending mode. I'm not sure of what I came up with but I'll share it with you for your comments. Original images were shot at ISO 200 and 800, f/9.0 and f/5.6, 1/20 & 1/400 sec, 80-400mm Sigma, 80mm and 400mm, Pattern Metering, Auto Exposure, Auto WB, No Flash.

    Hi Richard,
Wow - I would never have thought of doing this - I love it!! My only suggestion would be to just brighten or saturate the eye a little to make it pop.
    Regards,
    Nicki

Thanks for the tip. I had brightened the eye, but when I dropped the opacity it dulled it. Let me know what you think.

This is a cool.image. Love the flamingos in his head! Might be tempted to soften the sharp edge of the bird a bit if you can.
