    I took this with the Mark III, 600mm on a tripod. I hoped for more head turn but it flew away.

    Beautiful light and colors on this one.......and of course I just love posts. You might not have gotten the head turn that you wanted.....but this one is still an excellent image. I might be tempted to crop a small amount off the bottom as the fence post seems a little overwhelming for the small bird. Well done.

    Love the little guy as presented Would agree with cropping the perch Might go just below the nut Sure would show off the bird better !!! Excellent image !!!!

    Nice capture. I love the color of the background. These are so different from our Western or Mountain Bluebirds. Agree with comments on crop. Such a little guy!
