    Another species I enjoy photographing because of the challenge, like the Warblers, quick flighty and very quick. This was a display for a female who was not to far away.

    Canon MK-3-ISO=400 at f6.3-1/800th of a sec.-0-EV and 500-MM IS lens.

    Hi Bill,

    Love the head turn and exposure. The white spot behind the head is a little distracting but this is by far one of your best!

    Solid black birds are always a challeng to expose well. Did a good job here. Hot spot in BG is a small distraction, nothing to get ones nickers in a twist over. Well done.

    Sweet shot Bill nice pose the blacks have some nice detail I agree about the bright spot behind head.....

    I agree with Maxis, that lighter spot is distracting but this shot is great! Compo, BG, colours, pose, light, all great! Congratulations!
