Mike, you captured a very nice calling pose of this beautiful eagle. The image looks a little washed out and would benefit from darkening the midtones. There is a sharpening halo around the bird. I think I would add a little canvas on the left side and crop a little from the top. Fine image!

Linda nailed it!! Just a little tune up and you'll have a wonderful image.

Agree with all of what was said. I might add that a little noise reduction could benefit the sky (ISO 800). Resolution of bird is fine. Good image.

Thanks for the pointers. I edited this on and uploaded from my laptop and should have done so on my "real" computer and calibrated monitors. I see the glaring weaknesses this morning.
