OK, I know this is not a great image, too many parts of it are way too blurry and the background is distracting. It's not really for serious critiquing, but more for fun I guess. When the fill flash went off, this little guy just jumped too fast for my 1/250" to stop his motion!! But I still like the look on his face, and his blurry paws, and his seed falling out of his mouth. Just thought maybe some of the folks on this list who like squirrels might enjoy his expression.

    Canon 40D
    Canon 28-135 lens
    1/250"
    F5.6
    ISO 500
    fill flash
    exposure +0.33
    111mm

I do have another image of this guy which is sharp. But after he raided the bird feeder, I didn't mind making him jump just a little bit! I did get better on the background in the later pics, but by then he was used to the flash. bummers. lol

    Hi Cheryl,
This is just what I needed after my experience with a squirrel at the wildlife refuge this morning. He managed to escape while I was cleaning out his cage, even though I had temporarily moved him to a secure location. I then spent a frantic (and some would say hilarious) few moments trying to catch him...:o:D:eek: Luckily the shed door was closed...
    Thanks for making me smile!!
    Regards,
    Nicki

I figured if not here, than where else can we share some of our not-so-well-done photos.
