Putting up a perch at your set-up always produces lots of great interactions. These two birds are posturing and threatening each other. I found the left hand bird's wide open mouth interesting in this image.

Guango Lodge, Ecuador. EOS 1D Mark II N, 500mm f'/4 IS lens mounted on a tripod. Manual mode 1/250 sec at f/20. ISO 250. Seven flash set-up.

Great interaction, details and exposure control. It's maybe a tad oversharpened.

Great timing Linda. Love the two poses and open beak as well as a wonderful BG. Congratulations on another outstanding capture.

Beautiful, Linda. Either one of these poses would have made a very nice image, but getting them both puts this over the top. The DOF at f/20 has everything tack sharp and the multi-flash setup is used to perfection here.

What an incredible image, Linda. The poses of your subjects are excellent. I might consider adding some black to the neutrals in selective color. I think some of the over-sharpened look comes from the compression of the file. 66KB at 1000px is pretty impressive :) Great work.
