Excellent exposure and eye contact Denise. The only thing I would change is to try to clean up some of the background branches that are out of focus.

Agree totally with Oscar. It's a beautiful shot. The detail is great, the exposure is terrific and I particularly like the tucked in leg. I'd just look at tidying the background a touch. Nice job.

    Cheers.

I like the image a lot: overall composition, sharpness, exposure all right on. The bg branches don't bother me, perhaps removing some of them would work?
Is the image tilted? The bird seems to be leaning to the right. I might adjust the tilt some but watch the overall composition as the diagonal perch is a nice element in the composition.
Personally, I find getting a good image of chickadees rather frustrating. For such a common critter, they don't stand around for a portrait very often.
    Well done

I don't think the image is tilted I think he is leaning on the one foot that's all

Love the pose Denise, Good sharpness with the 1.4 TC. Good exposure, I would do something with the branches too. Good shot!
Might be tempted to sharpen the eye a wee bit too. Just to bring the focus to it a little more.

I think you are right. The bird's just doing the chickadee-two-step
