    More friends from the zoo. Don't know what I would have done for pictures if it were not for the zoo:eek::eek:

    Nikon D300, Sigma 300mm 2.8 w/1.4tc, 420mm, F4, 1/1600, ISO 400, Aperture Priority,
    Exposure Comp -0.33, tripod assisted.

    Oscar, I like the feet !! Very nice photo from the zoo.The tail feathers are nicely highlighted also

    Great back lit Oscar !!!! I like the pose and bg On those you can use some fill flash if you lower the shutter speed to be effective !!! Excellent !!!

    Good shot Oscar. Agree about fill flash. Love the fluffly tail, and you did expose well for the whites here with the highlight behind the neck.

    That is one fluffy bird - I love it!! Agree about the fill-flash but you did really well with this.

    I love the fully feathers and the back-lit lighting. As mentioned, very sharp and a great eye. I think the background really sets off the bird. One more vote for fill flash.
