    Hi Rick,

I like this a lot. Good head angle and great details in the feathers, and a great eye (very sharp). I also like the background. Very nice as presented. My only critique is it is a little tight for my taste but still one I would be like in my file. I have one question. Is see blue/purple spots on the thing the bird is standing on. Do you know where this color is coming from?

    Thanks for sharing!

    Regards,

    Phil

Great angle, colors, details and BG. I agree regarding adding a bit more room at the left and I would remove the specular highlights on the rock and it could go a bit brighter for my taste. The purple Phil mentioned does look unusual. Keep them coming!

Nice low perspective, and the bg compliments the bird well. The pose is very nice and the head angle perfect. I would also like to see a bit more room on the left.

Very nice work Rick! Great low angle with good eye contact and sharpness. I agree about more room on the left and might a little on the bottom as well.

Amazing details, exposure and head turn. 50D looks good!!

I only wish for more room at the bottom!

BTW, How do you like the 50D?

    Keep them coming!

Love it. Gorgeous light, background and wonderfully sharp. Personally, I'm not convinced it is too tight in the frame but I might be tempted to clone out the lower of the two specular highlights in the eye.

    Cheers.
