    Default Quetzal

Image was created this year at Costa Rica, near Trogon Lodge using a Canon 20D ISO 1600 1/400sec

Great find, is this the bird's nest? I might sharpen a bit more and remove the OOF branch in the lower left and the bright spot at the top.

I hope I can get one of these myself someday! Love the portrait, the light and details, removing the little branch in the front is a good suggestion. Congratulations!

Nice Capture. I love the soft lighting. I agree about removing the branch in the lower left. The bird's eye also looks slightly out of focus.

One of my most wanted birds! Wonderful to find this one nesting in an attractive tree and I like the pose. Axel has covered the improvements that will make this image even better.

I like the close up. However, the head looks a little soft. Los colores estan bonitos!

I agree with Axel´s suggestions. I like a lot this portrait of one of my favourite bird species. Well done and thanks for sharing with us!
