    Hi Folks!
Another one for the autumnal motif...:)

Saturated (esp the yellow channel) the already late afternoon sun-soaked reeds in the BG. Not too much else.
    Look forward to your c & c's!
    Best regards to all,
    Nicki

I just weak around a bit. Killer BG again. Love to know how you did that. Just took a bit of blue out of the beak, and lightened the head a little. My .02

    Hi Jackie,
The head looks a little light on my monitor now, but I'm on my laptop at the moment!
The background was a clump of reeds that were being lit by late afternoon sun. They were far enough behind the duck that with an aperture of F9 they appeared as a blur of colour. As far as I can remember (which is not very much of anything!!!) I just kept pushing up the saturation (esp the yellow channel) until I was happy that the BG was as dynamic as it could be. If I think of anything else that I did in PS I'll let you know, but I think that is more about finding a good BG in the field and hoping that a willing subject comes your way!!
Hope this helps and thanks for taking the time to download and tweak!
    Regards,
    Nicki
