Default Least Grebe - Me Too

I am joining the other posts of the S. Florida Least Terns with babies. I feel lucky that you guys alerted me to the nest. It's my first time seeing this species. The babies were being fed by a parent who kept returning with food. They tucked themselves under the primary feathers of the other adult when they were at rest. Big crop.

    HI Susan,

I could not help myself but this is not a Least Tern. This is a Least Grebe. I would remove some of the noise.

    Thanks for sharing!

That baby looks so comfortable! I've never seen these and would love to. So cute! I like the composition and the bg habitat. Only wish for a little more head turn from Mom. Nice capture!

Hey Maxis, I deserve that after correcting your spelling. I've got Least Tern on the brain, unaccustomed to Least Grebe.

Great find and the chick really makes this one for me. I agree regarding noisy BG and swimming away pose.

I masked out the bird and ran Noise Ninja on the BG

It does look better but still is a bit noisy.

Very lovely captured moment Susan under not easy conditions. The babies are wonderful and I like the cosy look of this image. Thanks for sharing.
