Yes, I know this is not your typical landscape image but I think that's one of the reasons I liked it so much. This is the Saturday night's sunset being reflected into the glass window that is the building front for The Bloch Building - the newest addition to the Nelson-Atkins museum in Kansas City. There is a reflecting pool directly between this building and where the sun goes down so all the colors of dusk get bounced off the pool and onto this window. It was stunning!
Canon 40D, EF 17-40mm f/4L
f8 @ 1/60th, ISO 200
AWB, Center-weighted metering
Handheld, natural lighting
Processed in ACR & CS3. Small crop and curves adjustment, minor saturation added and I cloned out some annoying bright spots that were in the reflection.
Hey Julie,
This may belong in the travel/cityscape section.........but i like it...........so I'll comment. I like the way you seperated the buildings in the reflection. The colors and contrasts are very appealing compositionallly. Very nicely done.
