Kansas City is famous for the Shuttlecock statues that run throughout the grounds of the Nelson-Atkin's museum and adjoining sculpture park. After making the color image, I converted it to b&w and then masked off the red bulb of the shuttlecock for a pop of color.

But that spot color you added back makes the shuttlecock seem to float in the air! I'm sure it's because of the uniform gray of the lawn below it (and probably the lack of shadow), but knowing that doesn't lessen the effect.
