    Default Landing gear on.

From recent good day at wako.

PS: I was down on boardwalk with lens resting on bottom wood strip to minimize vegetation in the background. I cloned out a very little part from left bottom corner.

Very cool Sid. I like the pose and the full beak.

Lovely image Sid. Love the extended alula, ruffled wing feathers from turbulent air as they stall, flared tail. If the landing zone was in frame it may have added another dimension

Very nice image Sid, if I could manage one half as good as this I would be thrilled. My only nit is the dark marks against the blue, maybe sensor dust I am not sure.

    Hi Sid!
Really nice action shot you captured - I believe you nailed this at just the optimum moment!

I'm viewing this on an uncalibrated monitor from work - but are there a few dust particles showing in the sky? Forgive me, but on this monitor there appear to be some some small blemishes that appear to be sensor dust.

    Hi Sid,

Excellent technique and good timing. The wings makes this image very strong.
