    I captured this image in Yellowstone in May of this year. It was a real treat to get to see cubs this close. (Mom was at the base of the tree this cub was in).

    Canon 5D
    500mm f/4 with 1.4X TC
    1/160 @ f/7.1
    ISO 320
    No Flash

    He is adorable. I like how you can see his "little" claws. Too much negative space to the right for me. Have you tried this as a vertical crop since the lines of the tree trunk might lend itself to this ?

    Here's a different crop. Thanks for the thought. His nose is now on the upper right power point.

    Very cute indeed and I agree that the composition in the repost is much better. I have to admit that your exposure in the original post strikes me more. The repost looks a bit flat. It does also look a bit soft as Kaushik says...but I've noticed that the sharpess online is different from what I see in PS....strange...but true.
