This is my first fall with a true macro lens, and this forum has really inspired me to work on my microscapes.

This was a natural untouched scene I found in one of my secert spots in Rocky Mountain National Park.

    Well done Jared,
I like the texture and contrasting fall colors of the leaves, the water droplets are a big plus, you have razor sharp details and good color rendition...

I agree with Gus...this is nicely seen and photographed. I really like the diagonal lines of the wood beneath the roundness of the leaves. You did a very nice job on exposure and composition.

    Jared,
I really like the composition, with the stong diagonals of the leaf stems/veins aligned with the somewhat more subtle diagonals in the log. The rain drops are a big plus; the overall wetness is important, too. The care you took in composing with even spacing all around between the leaves and frame edges is very apparent, and well done. For me, what turns this from a nice photo into an excellent photo is the 3rd leaf being at a strongly contrasting angle from the other two. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing it.
