    A F/ imm. about to launch off from some nearby bushes recently. Hope the background isn't too distracting.

    D300, Nikon 80-400VR, hand-held. 1/500, f7.1, ISO 1250.

    Very nice pose and compo, there is some noise and jpg artifacts around the bird.

    Agree with Fabs on all counts here. Lots to like, but feather detail could be better.
