    Taken this afternoon at Metro Zoo in Miami. Spent the morning with the Miami Crew. Too many to name!!!! You know who you are, and we had a blast in the rain!!!! This black-crowned night heron didnt mind posing for me at all. full frame, basically just added a little light and sharpened.

    D300, 70-300 at 220mm, f/5, 1/640s, 0EV, ISO 500, flash fill at 0EV bounce flash

    I like the pooped out look...:eek::D All of these little guys were disenchanted and disillusioned by the rain today...but yes; we all had a blast...it was great seeing you and Jill...:cool:

    He looks like Alberto after a bad hair day:D These poor guys got a good soaking today.
    Nice capture H. Good eye contact.
    It was fun today despite the rain.

    I like the somber eye and he's nicely sharp. I also like the crop.

    I got a kick out of the expression on this bird. I like the emotion this image conveys. I like the composition. Great eye contact; that stare is a killer.

    Way to go Mr. H.... We all had a great time running around in the rain. Great finally meeting you and Jill, look forward to more outings. By the way, this is exactly how I looked after the huge downpour around 1:15pm.

    What did you do to this poor bird Daktari !!!! Too funny !!!!

    I like tight crop very much !!! Excellent light, exposure and one fine image !!!
