    Finally I have something new to post! Got this lady the other morning in a friends backyard :)

    Great pose, great exposure, terrific perch, great colors and very nice BG, light seems just a bit harsh but not bad at all, I actually like it very much! Just congratulations!

    Glenn, perfect pose, exposure, and DOF on this one. I agree with Ramon about the light being just a bit harsh, but the image is still very good, and I'm guessing this is probably not an easy shot to get.

    I like the alert pose and seeing the tail propping the bird. Lovely mossy branch. Great framing, perfect exposure and nice bg. Great capture. You owe your friend a bottle of wine!

    Nice Pileated image especially for sunlight. You can see the wear and tear on her wing feathers, possibly from going in and out of her nesting cavity,feeding her young, this spring. well done.
