    We went up to the Keweenaw Peninsula in Upper Michigan last weekend. Even that far north, the colors weren't very advanced. This is about as dense as they were. The weather was cool and partly cloudy, and was at least a great day for a fall drive! Taken from Brockway Mountain Drive, between Copper Harbor and Eagle Harbor.

    Nikon D80, Tamron 70-300 f/4-5.6 @ 120 mm, f/22, 1/4s, tripod, processed in LR2

    Love the different hues and tones mixed with the evergreens...good show...:cool:

    I like how your eye goes over the whole image and the vantage point. The vignetting is a nice touch too.
