I missed the good lighting by 4 minutes for this leaf this evening, but decided to gave it a practice try for tomorrow. And I kind of like it.

What do you think, too bland and boring? The only Photoshopping was to clone out a small leaf at the top, contrast and unsharpmask. Tried going lighter, but decided to stay with its dark and different look.

    what do you think?

    I like it Cheryl,
It does have a certain mood to it; especially with the trace of the spider web...good show...

Very interesting quality to the light Cheryl. Set your alarm clock so you will get the light you want:) Looking forward to tomorrow's post.

thank you, everyone, for your comments. (I hadn't even notice the spider silk before! even though there are strands of it all over the yard. Must be the time that spiderlings are hatching and heading out on the breeze.)

Jackie, Fortunately for me, the sun hits this baby tree in the evening! lol

LOL, Harold. It's not quite what I had in mind, but sometimes "accidents" actually work out better than plans.:D

The people on this list are so encouraging! You wouldn't believe how much help this list has been to me.

After all these positive comments, I hope I can get another image that passes your 'inspection'. :)
