Hello guys we went to the zoo again. This black crested night heron graciously posed for us,
Pentax k10d da 300, Iso 400 1/400 f5.6 tripod and it was raining:)

Rain makes all the difference here Alberto !!! Love the mood and the bird was up to the task !!! Feel that is a little tight in frame .... maybe shrunk with the rain :) btw your point of focus was the chest area not the head !!!! Glad you guys had a good time !!!

I think that because of the rain his posture was not the best. The rain and the background makes it.

Yes it was raining wasn't it!! He looks quite the sorry soul...
I love the mood of this and I like the tight crop. I might just lighten the eye.
