    Same flowers, different bird.

    I know the dark patches in the BKGD will bother some poeple but I don't mind them much.

    400D, 100-400 IS at 250mm
    1/800, f/5, ISO 200
    About 80% of full frame

    Beautiful shot Aiden nice feeding pose pretty bg really compliments the hummer I think you probably could sharpen the bird a touch more..........

    HI Aidan, I would go for a tigher crop and would keep out part of the flower branch that it is in not perfect condition and do not made justice to the image. I suggest the attached cropping and some cloning job to delete part of the flowers. I also added some saturation, noise reduction only to the BG and levels adjustment. The action is very good and you have a great eye catch. Terrific BG and I like a lot the complimenting between the green and red. Very well done

    I like this image, although it could have been sharpened a bit more. I find the natural background and some blurring of the wings to be most appealing, because these birds are constantly in motion. Completely freezing this motion is unnatural. It is also desirable that multiple flash photography was not used, because I think that nature should be captured photographically with as little intrusion and impact upon the subject as possible. Good work!
