Default Gr. Yellowlegs - autumnal swim

Taken last weekend. This Greater Yellowlegs swam right where I wanted it to...into the reflecting fall colours of this local pond. A couple of distracting elements were cloned out in the water in URC, and slightly cropped for composition.

    Canon 40D + 100-400L @ 400mm, manual exposure, 1/320s., f/6.3, ISO 400, fill-flash @ +0.3 FEC, handheld.

Beautiful colors. I would like it more if all the reflecting elements were vertical, ref UL corner, but that is hard to control.

I like it very much Daniel, the reflection and water movement are very good as is the fall color, nicely done my friend.

I like the colors and the soft light a lot Daniel and the composition is very nice but the most I like in this image is the fantastic rendering of that huge eye. Just beautiful!

Well composed Daniel and I particularly love the alert pose you captured in this image. Wonderful eye contact , color and detail. Fine image !!!!

I really like the swimming pose and the reflection colors in the water. There seems to be an off white area in the URC that could be eliminated. Lovely capture.
