    It works for me. I like the color palette and the fluffy feathers.

    The pose is good, and the feathers you wanted to showcase look good. I'm not too keen on how the front of the bird blends in with the BG though.

    i love the detail in the feathers, my only critique would be the white speck in the center of the back, my eye went straight to it..

    Nice job Lance! The exposure looks perfect, as does sharpness. Love the pose too. It's a little tight on the left, and I agree with Daniel's comment on the breast feathers. It'd be easy enough to burn the feathers up front. Thanks for posting!
