    Can't do much with the BG; hard bright sky ( I hate that) even though it was getting towards late after-noon.
    Wish the head were in a better position.

    Lense: Canon EF 500 IS L @ 4.0 + Canon 1.4 T/C; effective focal length 700mm
    No flash
    Monopod

    Very nice Mark I love the open wing pose as this Osprey does a balancing act with its fish you have pretty strong hot spot on the near wing did you try toning it down? Well done thanks for sharing.....

    I love the wing position. There seems to be an over all darkness to it, maybe some s/h? I am at work so it may look fine at home.

    I like the open wing, balancing position, but I agree with you that the head position could be better, The sky looks fine to me. Your crop is a little tight for my taste - I would like a little more room top and right. Nice action capture.
