    This image was captured in the southern alps of New Zealand. This species was introduced into NZ and is now wide spread throughout the alpine regions.

    This is vertical crop with some minor cloning to remove the ear of a female that was behind this bull.

    Pentax*istDS, 50-500mm @ 500mm, f8, 1/800th, Iso 400, -2/3 ev, on monopod

    A nice portrait of a species I've not seen a lot of. Good eye contact with a pleasing OOF FG & BG. Just a bit dark on my monitor.

    Hi Michael Agree on the being a bit dark Love that face and would do a tighter crop Probably eliminate most of the oof foreground grasses I think is going to be very strong !!!! I like it a lot !!!!

    A new animal on me and a great looking one at that, I like the peering over the hill top pose-Looks good to me

    Nice shot. Really like the lighting and the comp. I also like the OOF vegetation in the foregound.
