    Leaving the Osprey's for now until I can edit some very interesting behavioral images using all the tips I've gathered from all the people at BPN. But for now I will post from my archives and hope everyone enjoys.

    Taken with a Canon Mk-2-N and a 100-400 IS-L lens
    ISO=400 @ f/8 and 1/640th of a sec. 0-bias.

    Thank you all very much for visiting and commenting it is so appreciated.

    Hi Bill,

    What a cool looking family. There is some cloning going on that I don't like and is very noticeable. I also wish for more sharpening. However, you did an excellent job with the head turn.

    Can you post the original and let's see what we can do with it....

    Thank you!

    I agree the cloning marks are strong and obvious. I do like the family grouping...especially the little fella under the parent :-)

    From looking at your gallery it seems like you are having fun out there in the field!

    I have to agree with you on the cloning I should have taken more time as i enlarged the canvas amnd had to lone some areas. The head I did not touch only due to the inability to do so. I try to stay as pure to the image as possible and manipulation is not one of my forte's. I hope to grow photographically and artistically with the comments I get from the BPN community.

    Other then the clone marks this is a very nice family shot. Nice pose by Mom and the little ones doing their own thing....

    Really cute family image, and the little guy under the mother is especially cute. The clone stamp may not have been the best tool for the job. If you were getting rid of debris in the water or filling in areas of duckweed, you would have better results using the patch tool.
