Late season water lily (although the first water lilies I have tried to photograph!) in central northern lower peninsula of Michigan. Nikon D80, Tamron 70-300 f/4-5.6 @ 300mm, ISO200, polarizer, later morning with sun filtering through trees and a few cumulus clouds.
Hey Bruce, Looks good the soft and moody light and the classic comp. Works for me. The soft light on the flower is great. I just noticed some horiz stripes in the lower section in the water between the pads. Strange! I havent seen that before! Robert
Hey Bruce, I like the comp and the lighting is really dramatic. Robert refered to so lines, But I don't see them as I'm on a small monitor, so maybe I not able to pick them up.
Hi Bruce, The lighting is superb, it has a great feel to it. I too do not see these stripes???
Enlarged for easy viewing.:) I dont know what they are from, I dont remember ever seeing this type of problem before. Robert
