    This is an extreme crop from a capture made with a handheld Nikon D200, 80-400mmVR at 400mm, f8, 1/500sec, manual exp mode, spot meter mode, ISO 400. I know the birds feathers are both soft and noisy, due to the cropping, but I really like the pose:o. C&C welcome.

    Yes, he is soft but I'm like you.....I like the pose. I think you did well with it as it and if you tried to do more sharpening, it might degrade the image. Perhaps a little less of a crop would still give you the nice pose but sharpen up or at least not look as soft.
