    Another image from Kern County. The Audubon center there is there is great for birding, but not as great for photography: it's hard to capture an image without some man-made element.

    You certainly have made the most of the area. I like the sharpness of the head and the pose of him peeking around the corner. I either like to have a close crop of the head or else the entire bird. With just the head being sharp this doesn't seem as much of a problem but I still might be tempted to crop closer. Well done.

    Hi Aidan Nothing wrong with man made elements Just makes it a little tougher !!!

    Would suggest bumping up your ISO Hand holding and low shutter speeds make me nervous and your camera is a good performer !!! In a pinch remember that noise always beats soft !!!! Love the peaking pose !!!

    This is excellent. You did well with the composition. I would add just a little more sharpening!
