Kathy, this is superb. I like the composition, image and capture...the fish is a big plus, great details with good color rendition. The background compliments your subject well; making him stand out. My only suggestion would be to clone out the feather thats sticking out vertical on the head, and tone down the hot spots on the neck...congrats...a job well done...proud of you...:)

Fantastic image. The whites look very good and well exposed. Did a little tweak in PS to tone down the whites a little anyways after reading Gus's comment. Don't know if you will like it any better. My .02

Thank you everyone of the suggestions and comments. Not sure what you mean by "hot spots"---maybe lighter areas in the white? What is the best way to tone them down? Burn tool?

Hi Kathy - great shot - agree with toning down the white hot spots, easiest way is with a mulitply or linear burn layer.

Select the area you want to change - then drag the layer onto the new layer icon - press backspcae to delete everything but the selection, then change the layer mode to multiply and adjust the opacity.
Full explantion on Robert O'Tooles APTATS CD.
