Taken in the Tetons yesterday around 3 pm. I was glad the fawn went under the mom from the back side........even if there is a bit of shadow on it's head from moms belly. I was focused on the bulls chasing each other......when my eye caught a glimpse of this. Canon 1D Mark 3 with the 1.4 tele and the Sigma 300-800mm lens at 962mm and ISO 800 at f8 and 1/2500 of a sec.
As always, comments welcomed and appreciated.

Nice capture of the catchlight on the little one. A head turn for the female would put this over the top but that does not always happen, does it.

Wow! I think it's great that you got the little one to look your way! This is a beautiful image, Roman. The colors and exposure really make it special. I'm guessing you did some selective blurring on the FG & BG and I think you got it exactly right.

    Hey Julie,
No blurring..............962mm will do that for you :D! Robert, I will post the full head turn later.......but it cast a strong shadow on moms back. I should be napping right now.......but no night shots planned tonight.

Nice catch and composition. I love the earth tones along with the visible eyes.

Nice behaviour image! Like the low angle and the fact you can see the young antelopes eye.
