Hi everyone! I did go out this weekend and found the pelican again. I walked the whole park before I found him. UGH
Last shot I went a bit later this time I went as early as I could. Dropping my daughter off at school at 645 and headed streight over there. Is this one better? How can I improve? Thanks everyone for your comments and critics. I appreciate it a lot. That's how I've learned.

I like the shot, it just looks like it needs a bit more contrast to me.

Hi Sharna: Beautiful exposure and capture. Lovely bird. Tried sharpening 2 times very light unmask, 27, 0.2,0 for a look-see, as anything else I tried lost the feather detail under the bill . . . Hope everything is going well . . Uncle Gus :)

HI Sharna Could try a lower angle

You did well here, sun was at your back and got a good pose Also like the bird placement in frame. I like the re post by Gus, would back down the sharpening a little

Hi everyone. Thanks for the comments. Al, yeah that's kind of not possible for me right now to get down lower. I'm going in for back surgery in 13 days. I'm going shooting with a couple of new friends tomorrow. I will be shooting a lot with the 100-400 which allows me to get a lower angle look at a higher angle ;)
