    First signs of fall color are starting. This is some sumac leaves I shot this morning.

    Fuji S5 Pro, Sigma 180 macro, Tripod, Natural Light, f/32

    Ours are just starting to turn here, as well. Lovely composition Mike. The colors are crisp without being oversaturated. One of the things that always impresses me about your images is how spot on your sharpening always is. It's never too much...it always appears so natural. Any sharpening tricks we could learn from the master???

    Hey Jules, most people laugh when I tell them I use PS elements 2.0. :D I use the unmask sharpening and usually set the slider at about 250% with the radius at about1.0. On most of my images I want everything in focus so I shoot at f/32. I always tell the people in my workshops that my system may not be the best or the right way of doing things, but it works for me.:)

    A very nice symmetrical pattern of leaves, that stand out with the black background...god show...:cool:

    A great sign of approaching fall. Even if you had to run it on Elements 0.2 on a vacuum-tube computer. :) Now I need to plan some time at the metroparks and similar to find some great little landscapes!

    Agree with Jules - u seem to get the sharpening so right.
    Yes, its autumn time & its the happy time for us since Mike Moats is gonna treat us all with his fantastic images :)
